Paola Filotico hails from Rome, where she became a Clinical Psychologist at La Sapienza University. After working in the crisis service of a major hospital, she wanted to pursue a culturally sensitive approach to psychotherapy, so she took an MA in Anthropology of Health and the Body at Goldsmiths University in London. She decided to stay in London and start her private practice. Long before 2020, she became convinced that online therapy was a great option for some clients. She adapted her practice to a digital setting, and, in parallel, she worked on themes of embodiment and spirituality, lay or otherwise. She crafts the therapeutic encounter to bring together different strands of our life – mind and body, reason and emotions, the digital and the physical. Paola now works prevalently online with clients worldwide, offering therapy in English and Italian, to individuals and couples.
